EXERCISES FOR GAINING SKILLS AT ALL RANGES OF COMBAT

Thirteen Dynamics basic combat training is based around 48 drills that each develop specific skills and abilities.
By regularly practicing and developing your skill in these exercises, you develop a well rounded defence (footwork, evasion, diversions). You learn to execute a wide range of sweeping and throwing techniques in response to strikes and also during close quarter wrestling.

You learn to strike using the power of the entire body and using all parts of the body including knees, elbows, palm strikes, punches, kicks and so on.

Close quarter trapping, jamming, clinching, join breaking, exercises are also covered (known as Chin Na).

Exercises are learned one at a time and when proficiency is achieved, the next drill can be added. Pad work, bag work and so on is also used to develop quality of striking, combinations and so on.
