We teach a unique and powerful system of Tai Chi Chuan, which includes five interconnected training aspects for the development of all around health, fitness and combat skill.

Our approach is that of the more ancient generations of practitioners who needed methods of training that would allow them to achieve and maintain vibrant health and physical vitality whilst mastering truly practical combat methods that would enable them to defend themselves and their communities against predatory enemies when times were more or less lawless.

To this end there are Yin methods that are slower, more gentle and contemplative. There are also Yang elements of training which are fast, dynamic and powerful. Training works across the spectrum from extremely Yin to extremely Yang. Training done solo is for mastering the self. Training done with others is to learn to master enemies.
