Thirteen Dynamics Tai Chi Chuan is the practice of Tai Chi as an incredibly subtle, sophisticated martial art for improving your health, fitness and self defence skills.

Our training is based around five core practices, which together build holistic physical and mental health and wellbeing. They also give you all the attributes and skills needed for truly practical self defence. This system of Tai Chi is widely known as ‘Wudang’ or practical Tai Chi. This particularly branch of tai chi was standardised in Hong Kong by a famous fighting tai chi master called Cheng Tin Hung.

The five aspects of practice are hand form training, pushing hands, free fighting, internal strength training and weapons work. 

Everyone can practice tai chi and gain immense benefit. Your age, sex, starting fitness etc are no barrier to learning the art. Different people tend to train differently based on their goals. The holistic nature of the arts gives you huge flexibility in terms of how you can practice.

We are based in Camden Town and run several classes per week as well as regular workshops and retreats.
